As promised, we have garlic available for boxes and even the first cucumbers and fresh red onions, along with our usual staples- roots and greens. Farm Shares are bursting with delicious veggies, but that's not all!
This week we're featuring a fun extra of lovely and local Sunflower bouquets from Georgia's Garden Party just down the road from us. If you aren't aware, her bountiful garden is right on Wilcox if you pass our farm and head towards Smith Rock. She currently offers flowers for purchase on farm on the weekends and U-Pick on Saturdays, but this week you can also get a five stem bouquet of sunflowers for $7. These are a pro-cut variety which means they won't even drop pollen all over your house, they are pollen-free and very vase friendly. Buy two if you want a more full bouquet, but add them to your share soon, there are only 20 bunches available!
Flowers will be delivered and available with your name on them in a bucket of water next to shares, as they are not very box-able. If you order, don't forget to grab yours, but don't worry, they'll be hard to miss!
