We are looking forward to this week's CSA pick-up! We also wanted highlight what else we are up to on the farm!
Planting Justice is a grassroots organization with a mission to empower people impacted by mass incarceration and other social inequities with the skills and resources to cultivate food sovereignty, economic justice, and community healing. Sol Sister Farm has been donating fresh veggie boxes to the food insecure communities with Planting Justice in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Sol Sister Farm has already donated over $1000 in veg, but we can do more with your help! Join farmer and instructor @emhunnybee for an hour long vinyasa yoga class on Tuesday 9-10am on Facebook Live (suggested donation scale $5-$30). Just $30 can provide a week’s worth of our produce to a family in need! If you can’t make the yoga class, but would still like to help, please Venmo donations to @solsisterfarm.
