Busy morning on the farm

Posted on September 21st, 2023 by Lynne Schultz

Hi

I hope this email finds you well. It's a bustling morning here on the farm as we gear up for another busy day. I wanted to fill you in on our schedule and share some exciting news about the red tomatoes!

This morning, I'm hitting the road with a truckload of chickens to get them processed. The good news is that I'll be bringing back some fresh chicken too, perfect for your upcoming meals. Josh is taking charge on the home front, making sure the kids catch the bus and getting orders ready for the restaurants, including that grand 250-plate dinner for this weekend.

Once I'm back, it's all about picking – for you and for the market. This week, we've got plenty of ripe red tomatoes ready to go. They're looking fantastic, and I thought it would be great to highlight them in your kitchen.

So, here are 10 creative ideas to make the most of those juicy red tomatoes:

1. Classic Caprese Salad

2. Homemade Tomato Sauce for pasta or pizza

3. Fresh Tomato Salsa

4. Tomato Bruschetta

5. Tomato and Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken

6. Tomato Basil Soup

7. Roasted Tomato and Garlic Pasta

8. Tomato and Avocado Salad

9. Grilled Tomato and Cheese Sandwich

10. Sun-Dried Tomatoes for future use

I hope these ideas inspire some delicious meals for you and your family. And don't forget, we'll be rushing off to soccer games later today – it's a full schedule!

Wishing you a fantastic weekend filled with tasty tomato dishes and great adventures. If you have any specific requests or need more tomatoes, just let us know. We're here to make your farm-fresh experience the best it can be.

Warm regards,

The Schultz Family ???
