Potatoes Potatoes

Posted on October 24th, 2021 by Lynne Schultz

Greetings from the farm,

Hope everyone's week was a good one. We have been busy this week and adjusting back from getting back from fair. I think I still have 4 more loads of laundry to finsh before we are caught up. Although fair is done we have already started next years project, the kids and Josh have separated and are halter breaking next years fair steers. We have have also been busy digging potatoes. A lot of potatoes and once you get in your cart you will see why. I think there will be 7 different varieties to choose from this week including sweet potatoes. Just to let you know the sweet potatoes are very large and will be two to three per an order but some potatoes are over 2 pounds.

New this week is celery. We will still have tomatoes, peppers, patty pan squash, and zucchini since the frost has not killed off the plants. The zucchini this week will be larger due to almost a week without picking them. But the large ones are great for zucchini bread and zucchini boats. We also have our cauliflower back this week. Over all there is alot to choose from this week. I think this is why this time of the year in one of our favorites because we have so much to choose from.

Well hope everyone has a great week,

The Schultz Family
