SupermBusy Week

Posted on August 27th, 2021 by Lynne Schultz

Sorry this is a little later getting sent out, we have had a super busy week. We are trying to adjust to getting back into the school and fall sport schedule. We have had 3 soccer games so far this week and another on Saturday. Also trying to packing in the mornings while trying to get the kids on the bus has been an adjustment. Also the hot weather has not help making many things stop growing. So this weeks choices may be a little smaller than the last few weeks. All I can say is water, water, water. That is all we have been doing. Please note due to no extra hands to pick Tuesday and Wednesday deadlines are the same by Monday at 9:30pm and will get ran thru the system Monday night. Also note home delivery times might later or sooner than in the pass due to soccer games and kids getting off the buses so please have a cooler out for us to put your vegetables in.

We did get a few things done on the farm. Last planting of greens and root crops are in the ground, we planted them at night in the full moon. These guys will be ready for our fall/winter CSA program. Details about this will be coming soon. We also got the mobile turkey pen done and Sadie's and Michael's turkey projects are moved in. We also received the kids meat ducks and chickens for 4-H in the mail. So that all fair projects are now all on the farm. So lots more feeding over the next few weeks. But we are super proud of kids helping on the farm, doing sports, and doing well in school.

Hope everyone has a great weekend,

The Schultz Family
