Hello everyone,
Hope everyone is staying cool in the heat. It has sure been a hot one this week. We have been working in the mornings or late in the evening to get everything done on the farm. Afternoons have been house work or running deliveries all week. And in the evenings we have been cooling of in the pond. We do need rain as the storms having been going around us.
We are picking tons of tomatoes of this week and our watermelons are starting to fill our coolers. We have three different types of watermelon red, yellow, and orange. What type will you get in your CSA this week? I feel this week things are starting to shift to fall as the kids are getting ready to start school. We also have been pick the first of our winter squash. Many of our vegetables are producing tons this week so you will see many different bulk items to preserve and can this next few weeks.
