Week 9

Hello,

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. We also hope that everyone is surviving the heat. We are trying to stay cool. Due to the heat our chickens are not laying as many eggs. Our goal is to get everyone eggs this week. However if you order more than one dozen you will probably only get one. If you don't get eggs you get an envelope in your bag. I hope you understand we can't force our chickens to lay during this heat.

We have a lot of new things this week. Fruit this week will be blueberries, blackberries, and peaches.

Josh and Lynne farm with their four kids in the rolling hills in Bremen OH. Our family believes in producing farm fresh quality products for consumers in the local community. We believe it is important for consumers to know where their food comes from as well as educating consumers about the important role that agriculture plays in the community. As being young farmers it is important for us to work towards providing sustainable agriculture to the community. As our operation continues, we believe it is important to become more efficient in what we are doing not only to save us time but help preserve and maintain the environment around us. Our farm continues to work and improve on conservation practices to help maintain a positive relationship between the farming operation, wildlife, and land around us.
