Farm Happenings for December 30, 2020

Posted on December 27th, 2020 by Andrea McAdow

Its our last week! I can't say that this year has flown by but I can wholeheartedly exclaim how thankful I am for the community we have all created together.

You have been so gracious and patient as we navigated a huge surge of interest in our farm, a new business direction, and all the general craziness that is being alive right now.

We quadrupled our members, added two hoop houses, were awarded a huge USDA grant, added a couple of amazing employees, partnered with some great local and regional farms, and grew more food than we ever have. This is a success for all of us together.

I'm looking forward to a couple of rest filled weeks to reset for our next season. We've already started some seeds and the nursery is filling back up. I just love quiet mornings talking to my plants with a cup of coffee in hand.

anyway THANK YOU. I can't wait to see what we will accomplish together in 2021.

A few final housekeeping items:

Pickup this week is on Wednesday.

If you have any feedback for us I would love if you replied to this email with it or wrote us a Facebook/Google review. We're always looking for ways to improve and better serve you.

If you have returned a milk bottle and did not yet a receive a credit in the store or on Harvie please let me know. If we discussed something in person on a Thursday I am liable to get distracted before I can write it down, if you would be so kind to shoot me an email about anything I said I'd do I would be so very appreciative ;) I try to remember but I think CSA day amnesia is a thing.

If you are joining us for our winter mini season those will begin 1/21 otherwise, regular spring shares resume 4/1. We hope to see you again!

Again, thank you,

Andrea and the Rosebird Crew
