Farm Happenings for October 29, 2020

Wow talk about a switch. Low was around freezing last night with ridiculous winds. Luckily(?) we have plenty of indoor work to do around here. Remember that big news I mentioned a few weeks back? Well, we just signed a contract for a grant that will help fund infrastructure investments and expansion of our local food distribution! Woo! For us that means more space to prep and pack boxes, a new delivery vehicle (hallelujah!) and a few extra hands. For ya'll that means more options coming in the near future and better quality control overall. With our business growing so much this year we have definitely come up against some road blocks to serving as much of our community as we would like, these funds will help break some of those down for us.

In other news, we have a new product this week purple daikon radishes. These will be a total treat for our spicy radish lovers. We also have plenty of different winter squash if you're craving a warm bowl of soup right about now. Its probably one of the last weeks for tomatoes around here too so savor them while you can.

Our green t shirts are also in, if you pre-ordered one I will be adding yours to your share box. Blue will be ready soon too. Thank you for your patience on these.
