We're Back!

Posted on September 21st, 2020 by Andrea McAdow

Hey all,

We are SO excited to be back! It feels like its been forever since we last saw you. We did our very best to not melt during our very hot and dry summer (non-soon season) and are ready to get back to bringing you the best food around. This email is going to be a bit lengthy as I brain dump all the info you need to hear, so please bare with me and read it carefully.

We are kicking off the season with our farm grown arugula, baby kale, and radishes.

With the heat postponing our heavy planting window we have lots of goodies from our new organic farm partners in CA to fill out our boxes this week. If you haven't tried them yet the heirloom tomatoes are simply amazing! The flavor and texture blows just about everything else out of the water.

This season we are also adding some more pantry staples like onions, potatoes, garlic and dry beans that will be available for swap or add-ons. We are moving towards a wider array of grocery products and want to help cut down on additional grocery store trips so if there is anything else you can think of you would love to get regionally and organic please send us a note.

We also now have Nex Veg patties available for add on. They are a whole food vegan protein replacement that is awesome you can read about it here.

That's about it for now, otherwise we are working hard to plant lots of awesome greens, beets, carrots, broccoli and more for the season!

Some Housekeeping Items:

If you have not yet paid in full... This first week you will see a larger charge than normal on your card. It is the 25% of your total order plus 50% of the first box. PLEASE DON'T PANIC. The remaining charge each week will only be 50% of the remaining cost of your box for that week.

Here is the help article on swapping out your share items. It goes over how to swap, when and why you may be charged for extras, and how to set your preferences.  https://harvie.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001667414-How-Swaps-and-Extras-Work

I recommend checking out the Harvie University if you are getting hung up on anything or you can always email support at support@harvie.farm for specific website related questions or me on product related questions.

We do absolutely guarantee our products so if something is not up to par, please do not hesitate to reach out so that we can make it right.

For Pick up, please come armed with your reuse-able bag to transfer your produce into, we will have extras if you forget though! Or you can try to balance everything in your arms, up to you ;)

PLEASE NOTE:

We are committed to bringing you the freshest, most flavorful food possible. We are sourcing some products from Southern CA and AZ in addition to those grown on our farms. This will give you a good variety while still allowing you to support local farmers and small businesses.

We want to be as transparent as possible, you will see the source of each product located next to its name.

CA/AZ Organic - California grown and organic

Rosebird CNG - From Rosebird Farms in Kingman AZ, which is Certified Naturally Grown (Organic for little guys like us)

Kingman - From local Kingman farms using organic practices but not certified

If you are receiving a delivery for the week please leave a cooler with plenty of ice on your front porch. We are only delivering to Golden Valley every other week starting this week.

For farm stand orders: If you are paying with SNAP benefits please select "pay offline" you will need to pick up at West of Third as the government currently only allows us to accept payments at our brick and mortar location.

Thank you SO much for your continued support. We truly love delivering food that nourishes our bodies each week.
