Hot and dry makes for very challenging growing conditions. Vegetable plants all but stop growing, but the weeds don't care. Nightly irrigation rounds are added to the long list of to-dos. New in this week's box are sugar snap peas! Salad mix will be of the mesclun type which includes arugula and mustard greens for a little spice in your life. The carrots should be a regular item for the next couple of weeks. On the horizon are peppers and broccoli. Happy eating!
