What a nice dry week we had last week! We did a lot of work on some deer fencing and I took advantage of the last week of deer season to thin the herd a bit. Venison pairs perfectly with veggies!   read more »

We had our first hard freeze of the year this past week.  To me that means mid to low 20s.  We picked all the tomatoes and covered a lot of crops in the high tunnels. As the days get shorter and colder the crops grow slower and slower. But the greens and roots get sweeter!  read more »
