Where are the flea beetles!? I don't know that I have ever seen bok choy look this good.  Not one flea beetle to be found.  These are the pests that riddle the leaves with holes and can 'skeletonize' the leaves. The hens are out! And so is Annie!  They are all loving running around the new greenery.   We have a few new crops this week with more to come soon.  This week we are digging sweet potatoes and making strawberry beds. It's about time to plant them again! read more »

Arugula, Salad Mix, Beets, Turnips, Snow Peas, Radishes, Stir Fry Mix, Rutabagas, Carrots, Spinach, Kale, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Swiss Chard, Collards, Bok Choy, Lettuce . . . . Hens are moved! We pulled an all nighter and moved 3,500 laying hens! I was not sure how it would go but our plan worked great! Only sad thing is that I think I got a little pooh in my mouth!
