We got a new flock of baby chicks in this past week! They are so cute! The photo is a little fuzzy but so are they!
This heat wave is making every part of farming a little tougher. We are constantly irrigating and when we harvest we are trying to cool the greens down as fast as possible. They will start to look more tired now due to the heat. Our first round of summer crops are just around the corner. The summer squash and early tomatoes are looking great and the green beans are covered in flowers. Also, our broccoli crop is quite late this year but it's finally coming in.
As the strawberry crop winds down they ripen much smaller but they pack a powerful flavor punch. This will probably be the last week on them.
