These are our hens doing a little late fall grazing. We had them cooped up with a smaller yard the last couple weeks training them to lay eggs in the nest boxes. If you let new hens out on the large pasture when they start laying you get to do an Easter egg hunt every day! Which sounds fun but not with thousands of birds!
Now they are out scratching and munching through the winter greens.
