Planting for the new year has begun! The picture shows a new crop of lettuce going in. We are also planting new crops of kale, collards, chard, spinach, arugula and more.
This time of year we can only grow various types of roots and greens in our area. The tomatoes, beans, squash and melons are but a distant dream for now!
