The deer had a big ole party last weekend in my bean field. Ate the peas down too! They are my biggest pest by far and difficult to control. I got a permit and put one in the freezer and then we set up electric fencing around the beans baited with peanut butter so hopefully the beans and peas will bounce back. I have a more permanent electric fence plan in mind for next year. I was really looking forward to a good late bean crop!
