My wife Elisabeth reminded me yesterday that we have not had a May like this since 2005. It was a beautiful spring but very chilly in the mornings. She remembers it well because she was working on a neighbor's farm picking leafy greens before sunrise. That task can make your fingers start to scream due to the cold.
Little did she or I know that we would get married later that fall and continue to grow this little thing we call Rise 'N Shine Farm. Oh the memories!
Now we are starting to get into some warmer weather which should help wake up these sleepy summer crops.
