Farm Happenings for August 12, 2019

For the last 12 years we have had someone else grow our starts. But they retired and no one else can do it as good as they can so we are back in the nursery business! We built this nursery house in about 2 weeks and now the broccoli and brussel sprouts are almost ready to plant.  You have to plant the fall garden in the heat of August and September so the plants get big enough by October before it gets too cold and the days get too short.
