Farm Happenings for May 30, 2020

Summer planting continues as does the harvest!  We planted our final rounds of sweet corn (Silver Queen and Seminole) and more beans and squash, cucumbers, and more.  A second round of melons will go in the ground this week along with another round of lima beans and field peas and the okra is popping up nicely. Now we just have to tend the crops and wait for the harvest.  

Please remember to check the label on the boxes and take the one(s) with your name on it.  If you ordered a stew hen make sure it is in the box.  Sometimes we keep them in the cooler.

Please continue to social distance at pick up, wear masks, handle boxes with clean hands and don't come if you are sick.
