Farm Happenings for November 11, 2019

Posted on November 8th, 2019 by Joan Norman

Welcome to the last week of the 2019 CSA season! This time of year is always bittersweet for us - we are ready for the farm to take a bit of a break and have a chance to regroup before we move into the 2020 season but we are also sad to not be feeding you for the next couple of months. We are very grateful to you for your support this season and we hope to have the chance to feed you and your family again next season. We are also very grateful to our awesome field crew - Miguel, Carmela, Miguel Jr., Manuel, Roberto, Isidro, Chino, Heladio, Agustin, Agustin Jr., Mauricio, Miguel, Artuo, and Juan Antonio. Our guys are very dedicated and work incredibly hard to get fresh produce on your table each week and we would not be able to succeed without them. They are truly the lifeblood of our farm and a part of our family. We would also like to thank our wonderful site coordinators for helping to set up each of our drop off sites.

As a matter of house keeping, this will be the last week of the 2019 CSA season. We will open sign ups for the 2020 season in late January or early February. We will send out reminder emails and also post the details on Facebook and Instagram once we open the sign up window.

Again, THANK YOU for your support this year and we look forward to seeing you again next year. We hope that you have a wonderful winter!
