Welcome to the first Winter Share EVER!

Posted on November 10th, 2023 by Lisa Duff

Dear Winter CSA member,

We are thrilled to welcome you to our first-ever Winter CSA! As we embark on this exciting journey, we have some updates to share with you.

Winter CSA Leadership: Farmers Justin & Kevin will be at the helm of our winter CSA, working hard to bring you the best in slow-growing, sweet, and crisp winter veggies. They will be supported by Lisa, who played a crucial role in planning the winter CSA. While Lisa will be taking a back seat in the day-to-day work, her expertise will continue to guide us as we navigate through the colder months.

What's Growing: The garlic has already found its place in the ground, and we're busy preparing the beds for the winter season. As we wrap up with fall crops, we're ensuring that the beds will rest well during the winter, ready to burst with freshness come spring.

Winter Experiments: This winter, we're pushing boundaries and experimenting with crops that are typically grown in the spring and fall. We're excited about the challenges and possibilities this presents, and we sincerely thank you for joining us on this brave and adventurous journey. Your support means the world to us.

Gratitude: We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your commitment to our farm. Your adventurous spirit and willingness to explore new tastes and textures with us make our work all the more rewarding. Together, we're shaping the way we eat and cook throughout the cold season.

Stay Connected: As we progress through the winter months, we'll keep you updated on the growth of our crops, share tips for winter cooking, and provide insights into the behind-the-scenes of our farm. Your feedback and involvement are always welcome.

Thank you for being a part of our community. Here's to a winter filled with fresh, delicious, and locally grown produce!

Cheers,

Lisa
