Farm Happenings Week 20!

Posted on October 6th, 2020 by Lisa Duff

What beautiful fall weather we've been having. Cherry tomatoes are still ripening in 'Upper tunnel 1' but it's time to plant our winter crops.... We hope you all have enjoyed the Sakura (red) and Sungold (orange) cherry tomatoes as much as we have. Give us a shout on FB, IG or reply to this email and tell us your favorites. WE WANT TO KNOW :)

Attention on farm pick up members: A bit of farm news other than vegetables... My 11 year old, Izzi, had a head on collision in the UTV with a truck coming around the blind bend of the driveway. Luckily the UTV took the brunt of the damage, she was not injured, and we all learned a very important lesson (or two). For those of you picking up at the farm...assume someone will be coming the other way. Please come around that corner very, very carefully. It was not on CSA day. It was a complete accident but it's worth the reminder to go slowly.

For those picking up at drop locations please remember to return your bags and leave your labels on so we know it's yours. WE do our best to give you the same bags. Thanks to all of you who religiously return your bags week in and week in. We understand it's not always easy. We choose to use logo bags to make it clear, easy and personalized for you to pick up your fresh veg.

We have our Oak Spring beanies for sale now that chilly mornings have arrived. Please consider purchasing one. WE also have a new shipment of Oak Spring farm car magnets! Get yours today!
