Welcome to our first Online Farm Stand of the season!
With our new online farm stand set up, you will be able to add items to your cart just like any regular online shopping experience. All you have to do is meet the $20 minimum for ordering. We'll pack it for you and have it ready this Saturday (the 26th) either at the farm, Strathroy or Komoka market.
Here's what we have this week:
Bok Choy - so beautiful this week. This doesn't grow well in the summer heat so we won't have it again til fall!
Spinach - biggest spinach we've ever had!
Rainbow Chard - honestly gorgeous this week and huge. I love to sautee it with some garlic scapes and then put it on some toast with a soft boiled egg on top.
Garlic Scapes - a spring delight that you will not find in the grocery store. Use like fresh garlic! We made garlic butter today with ours.
Kohlrabi - this unique veggie is sort of like a completely mild radish. Just peel it and eat it fresh! Excellent grated into a slaw. Or, roast or sautee it. We like to slice it up and eat it for lunch, with or without dip.
Mini Romaine Lettuce - beautiful little lettuces, perfect for salads and sandwiches. Or, grill them whole and smother with ceasar dressing!
Pick Up Details:
The Farm - Pick up your bag at the farm from 10am-2pm. 30073 Centre Rd Strathroy. Just down our driveway on the left you'll see a building with yellow/red doors. That's our packhouse! You'll find instructions to pick up your share there.
Strathroy Market - At our booth from 8am-12pm
Komoka Market - At our booth from 9am-12pm
