Farm happenings for Week of November 9th

Posted on November 9th, 2020 by Kelly Morris

FALL HOURS: Thursday, 3pm-6pm, Friday 11am-6pm, Saturday 9am-1pm. Like always, feel free to come during any of our open hours. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before we close to allow yourself time to gather your veggies.

FARM UPDATE: This is the last week of our CSA! We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who supported us this season. It was a trying year, but we made it work and even had some fun in the process. It was such an honor for us to be able to grow food for you! If you don't want the veggies to end, there are still a few spaces left in our Winter CSA. Sign up by Monday, November 16th at noon to get 6 more weeks of yummy, farm fresh produce. In addition to the Winter CSA, we will probably be doing special sales of some crops that were slower to ripen than in years past. We still have lots of kohlrabi, cabbage, lettuce and radicchio growing in the fields and the persimmon tree by the top of the driveway is loaded with fruit that is usually ready by this week. If you'd like to be on our mailing list to be notified when these extra items are harvested, sign up here.

SURVEYS: You received an email from me last week with a link to an online Year End Survey, and Susan also has paper copies available. Please take a few minutes to fill it out. Your responses help us plan for next year and shape a veggie program that works better for everyone. Please submit your surveys by November 20th. We greatly value your feedback!

Thank you once again for being a part of our farm this year. From the beginning of the season we knew that things would be different and a little challenging at times, but we appreciate all of you for putting your confidence in us and for working with us to make this the best season we could have asked for.

Thank you from your farmers,
Katie, Elizabeth, Brad, Brian, Christina, Kelly, Angie and Matt
