Important Update on Covid-19 Procedures:
As you may all have noticed Alberta is in the midst of a very bad second wave scenario. Regardless of what restrictions the Alberta Government and Alberta Health Services plan to announce over the coming weeks we have made the decision to go back to home delivery only. Going forward, including any deliveries this coming week, we will drop eggs off at your house.
We will be doing this free of charge at this time, and all existing delivery customers will have their delivery fees waived, until the 1st of January. We will reassess the situation come January. We understand that finances are tight for everyone, but we are anticipating that if the second wave scenario continues to trend as it has been that we will need to start charging between $0.50 and $1.00 for delivery fees come January to cover the cost of petrol and time.
For the remainder of this year we will deliver to homes for free.
New Delivery Request:
In the past we have brought sanitized temperature control bags back and forth between the farm and anyone getting deliveries. Unfortunately we are very low on bags at this time. Most of you probably have one of our silver delivery bags at home. We ask that you leave it outside, and we will put your eggs into the bag on your delivery day. If you do not have one of our bags we ask that you put a cooler or rubbermaid container outside.
In both the bags or coolers please place a bottle of water or two. This will help prevent the eggs from freezing even when temperatures outside get below -15C for up to 3 hours.
We have an order in place for more temperature control bags and water bottles, but they will not arrive in time for the next few weeks worth of deliveries.
