We are excited to announce that our pasture based proteins are now carbon neutral! When you buy eggs and chicken from our store raised on our farm your environmental footprint shrinks. You are helping our farm, your household, and the work mitigating climate change.
How do we know our proteins are carbon neutral? We have been doing soil sampling and soil profile surveying on our farm over the last few years. In tracking this data we have consistently improved our soil organic matter, which represents a huge long term carbon sink in the soil. The carbon we are binding in our soil organic matter is what makes our pasture based proteins carbon neutral. Good for the soil, good for you, and good for the world.
