The Return of Quiche!
We are happy to announce that quiche is available once again as an extra for our customers.
This time around we partnered with Chef's Farmer and Chef Alex Hamilton at Allium in Calgary. Chef Alex put together a fantastic quiche featuring our duck eggs, BC asparagus, smoked peppers, and pickled onions. Absolutely delightful. You can add one to your order while supplies last for $18.
Get Salads!
While we are not market gardening this season, our friends over at Grand Trunk Veggies and Chef's Farmer are! They have put together a weekly salad box of the freshest local ingredients paired with local chef made dressings. The program runs from June through to the end of July, and costs $20 per week.
Each week you get 4-5 ingredients for salad:
- Lettuce or mixed greens
- Garden favourites such as cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots & microgreens
- A fresh salad dressing every other weeks made by a local Chef
You can select the Chef's Farmer Salad Share as an add-on to your eggs any time from now until the end of July. You will be billed for the weeks remaining in the season. We've had some of the dressings from Chef's Farmer and the local chefs they work with, and they are absolutely fantastic. We also know Kye at Grand Trunk and he is an amazing urban farmer and local food activator. We hope you'll enjoy what they have put together. Space is limited, and first come first served.
