Happy Easter
Happy Easter everyone! We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe. Our farm usually goes into quiet mode for the Easter Week, but this year with churches doing online services and everyone social distancing things are already pretty quiet! We will be doing minimal deliveries this week, particularly on Friday and Saturday, as we celebrate Easter.
Full deliveries will begin again next week.
Weekly Egg Shares
We are almost totally sold out of weekly egg shares at this time. We are holding a few in reserve for our HSCA customers. If you were a customer of Calico Farms at the HSCA Farmer's Market we do have some shares in waiting for you, and we will be holding them reserved for the next 2 weeks. After that time we will be putting them up for anyone to grab. Please contact us at farming@happinessbytheacre.ca or on socials if you are an HSCA customer wanting eggs.
Social Isolation and Delivery
We hope everyone is doing their part to help flatten the curve and maintain social isolate. For the near future it looks like markets will be closed; most likely until mid-July or August. Until the market open up we will continue to do home delivery.
We are offering free home delivery until April 30th, at which point we are going to assess the situation.
This is the first time we have done delivery, and we are still working kinks out of our system. Thanks for your patience with our small errors and mistakes.
Waiting List and Farm Stand
If you have been unable to get our eggs we encourage you to join our Farm Stand (https://www.harvie.farm/farm-stand/happiness-by-the-acre). This will place you on our waiting list for eggs, and you will be notified when we have extras to sell. You will also get our weekly emails which include any expansions to our egg CSA subscriptions. It is probably the best way to keep up on getting our products.
