Farm Happenings for July 13, 2021

Posted on July 10th, 2021 by Claudia Frey

Good afternoon everyone!

This week is a post of gratefulness.  Grateful our weeds protected our crop during the heat so we now have crop to weed. Grateful some of our crop was not farther along or it may still have bolted.  Grateful we can package lettuce leaves when some of our head lettuces burnt on the bottom layers from the heat. Grateful the temperatures have dropped to where we can work in the fields during the whole day. And grateful for all of you, our members for supporting us in our regenerative organic farming venture!

This week we have  our most popular product, Spring Mix Lettuce, bite size lettuce leaves from 12 varieties of lettuce, bagged and ready to eat.  We also have Gold Ball Turnip Greens, mild and delicious in salads or braised.  Finally we have Asian Greens, medium sized.  More than bite sized, perfect for braising or cutting into smaller pieces to mix in salad.  This is a mix of 6 types of Asian Greens.

Again, thank you for your support.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do better in brining you fresh, organic, logal produce!
