'Tis the season for welcoming animals to the farm: a new flock of hens is here, and it's Flying Plow's largest to date! 400 egg-laying ladies moved into a fresh, brand-new chicken coop this week. Using the tractor, the large coop will be moved easily around the farm, giving the hens access to fresh grass during the season.
What's your favorite green to eat in a salad? Salad greens are the star of the winter CSA show, especially come mid-March! Arugula, Red Russian kale, greens mix, lettuce mix, & spinach... they have been going strong throughout the winter and will stay on the harvest list through the end of the winter season.
