Read what's happening at Green Ridge Acres below in a note from Joe!

Hello Everybody! This is Joseph Fox from Green Ridge Acres.

Spring is here!  Our hens spend more time outdoors now since it is warmer. We put the cows out on pasture this week.  They can hardly wait to go out these days.

We are starting to harvest spinach from the green house.  We think it is delicious.  We hope you will find it the same way.

We had replant our last spinach seeding because of poor germination.  We planted spinach, carrots and red beets in the green house, we also planted some tomatoes in the greenhouse.

We need to have heat in the greenhouse tonight to keep things from freezing.  We planted snap peas, green and yellow beans, spinach, carrots and red beets outside in the produce patch.  These will be ready to pick later this summer!

Oh yes! I forgot to mention, Red Potatoes!  We plan to plant them every few weeks so you can have fresh potatoes this summer.

Everything we are growing is certified organic.  That means you don't need to worry about harmful pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizer.  There are no preservatives in the produce we provide for you.  That means you also need to do your part preserving its quality.  Such as keeping fresh greens refrigerated.

Have a healthy, happy Spring!
