Week 14
This week we'll be introducing the first of our winter squash into shares, our butternut is nicely cured and sweet. We will have limited watermelons this week due to wet weather finally catching up in the field and causing the fruit to deteriorate rapidly. Don't worry, because we have a new planting coming on, which we hope will be ready in a week or so. Our preparations for Fall have continued this week and we've planted fennel, radicchio, fresh tropea onions and bok choi. The planting will continue this coming week with kale, chard, broccolini, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and more. It's exciting to think that greens season will be upon us again in a month or so.
