D&V Organics' season is just around the corner...

D&V Organics' season is just around the corner...

After a somewhat relaxing January, we have been working non-stop over the past few months preparing for our 2021 season.  Most recently, our daily activities involve either seeding in the greenhouse and field, preparing our 2,000 lbs. of seed potato for planting, or transplanting seedlings into the field.  It is an exciting time of year for us, with plenty of anticipation for the season ahead and eagerly waiting for the crops to grow.

Our CSA season is slated to begin in 3 weeks!  We are happy to have many new members joining us this year and are excited to continue supplying produce to members that have been with us for several seasons.  In addition to our regular 24 week CSA share, we've added an every other week option (12 weeks) and an every four week option (6 weeks).  The addition of shorter duration shares, we hope, will appeal to members who don't want to commit to a full season of produce, or members that may be traveling throughout the year, but still want to enjoy our seasonal produce.  We anticipate the 2021 growing season to run for approximately 29 weeks, so all members, whether full-season (24 weeks) or partial-season (12 or 6 weeks), can schedule or reschedule their shares for any dates that fall within our growing season (May 12th - November 27th).  Please reach out to us or support@harvie.farm if you have questions on rescheduling your shares.

CSA registration will remain open throughout the season, shares are pro-rated if the season has already begun, so it's never too late to join!
