What's New on the Farm;

How to know you are getting the full value of your shares;

When the customizing period is open, you can swap items in your share! So, "how do I know if I am getting the full value of the box as I might swap out a more expensive item for a cheaper item, leaving me short in value?" No problem here's how!

  • When swapping, you have a side menu that shows your "cart" or the contents of your share.
  • Below is an example (it looks the same for veggies if you have a produce box). 
  • You can add, minus, swap, or delete from the menu.
  • There is not a very clear action that shows you if you are under or at the exact value of your share.
  • There is a message that shows if you are over value! These are called "swap charges, shown below.
  • Your share starts are the correct value, but if you ahve been swapping, the best way to tell if you are close to your share box value, add in items until you get "swap charges", then take away an item so your swap charges are $0.00. (if you are actually buying extra produce, you will have swap charges).
  • There is no "add a new button here" button, so if you need to add an item, increase the quantity of an item you already have then swap out the extra item for something you actually want.
  • Hopefully, this helps you going forward!

We have limited birds available come thanksgiving so stay tuned for come the fall for turkey orders.

 

U-Pick Wildflowers & Sunflowers!

  • Come pick some wildflowers & Sunflowers!
  • Purchase tickets here. 
  • We have a limited number of cutters so you are welcome to bring your own scissors if desired so you do not have to wait for a pair. 
  • Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed cutters. 

How to reschedule your shares on your Harvie profile:

  1. Go to the shares tab on your account. 
  2. Select the share you want to reschedule.
  3. Please DO NOT put your share on hold, reschedule it immediately.
    • We ask this because what happens is you forget to reschedule the box & come to the end of the season, you miss out on a share you've paid for. :(
  4. You will be doubling up your normal order so be prepared for extra veggies that week.
  5. Meat shares can only be rescheduled to meat weeks (1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 &19)
    1. You may need to correspond your veggie share to accommodate this IF you have one.
  6. Double check it was changed & then you are good!

 

Are you getting Home Delivery? Invest in a cooler for your veggies & meat/freezer orders!

  • If you have signed up for a home delivery route, we highly suggest getting a cooler for us to leave your produce and potential frozen orders in while it waits for you to get home because it gets very hot in the summer!
  • We take back the boxes!! 
    • Please return the veggie boxes, containers, and other farm items. Don't recycle them! We reuse.
    • Leave them out your following delivery & the driver will grab them.

Farm Store in Zephyr is open Thursday-Sundays. (See calendar on website)

Please Return Boxes & Red Cooler Bags!

  • Home Delivery: Please leave the box & containers out for the drivers to pick up.
  • Pick Up Locations: Leave the box and/or items there and we will pick them up. 
  • To Return Veggie Boxes 
    • Remove the sticker with your name on it
    • Fold the boxes down so they are flat
      • Pop the bottom in, the pull on the flaps out until flat.
  • Return Red Bags
  • We accept 12 slot egg cartons & mason jar returns.
