Frost on the pumpkins. We had our first frost Saturday morning so I guess we are giving into fall. we protected our tender crops so no severe damage. on the plus side it looks like we are warming back up again. We finished up our sweet potato harvest and they are now curing in the greenhouse. We are starting on the harvest of our storage crops now that the weather is a little cooler.

  • We have extra turkeys available. If you need one let us know. They are fresh frozen. thaw them out, prep whatever way you like and roast them up. They cook fast! Much quicker than normal store bought, likely because we do not add/inject water for extra weight.
  • Sign up for fall/winter season. Still time. the next season starts first week of November
  • Sweet potato, leeks, butternut squash and yes strawberries are featured this week.
  • Corn maze, upick pumpkins. Come see us. Your CSA membership with us includes free admission. Check out our website for fall activity details.
  • keep those share boxes and bags coming back to us!

talk again next week
