**PLEASE READ THE FARM HAPPENINGS***

This is where we let you know of upcoming events, important and sometimes urgent updates, special happenings & basically anything we want you to know for the upcoming share week.

Hello Everyone!

Pictured Above:

Our Bottle baby, chug! Kelsey is feeding the calf with a bottle because he was born quite late in the season, and his mom did not take him. This happens every season, the happens for multiple reasons and it's hard to determine exactly what.

He is a great bottle baby and he is very fun to watch. He follows the herd and is very fun to watch. He has a stubby tail and often has his tongue stuck out! He is called chug because he loves his milk and finishes it very fast.

Calves main diet is milk for the first couple of months until its system is ready to start digesting grasses. We have some pretty good moms in the herd that he will probably be able to nurse from one day!

Current Updates:

Rescheduling Boxes: VERY IMPORTANT

  • There is only 5 weeks left this season (some of our monthly members only have 1 more delivery!)- we want to remind you to make sure you have rescheduled any boxes you may have put on hold due to vacation or what not.
  • If you don't reschedule & the season ends- We cannot make up those boxes for you! Our online system switches to the next Winter season and will not carry over any boxes that were not rescheduled.
  • If you never put any boxes on hold, please disregard! but keep this in mind for future reference :)

WINTER SHARE SIGN UP OPEN: We are getting close to selling out on the veggies! If you have not signed up yet & want to- don't wait ! (If you already have, you can disregard this bullet & thank you for signing up!)

Horray for a Vacay!

  • Steve & Lisa finally got a weekend away, they went to Niagara Falls for their anniversary. They are having a wonderful time.
  • Normally, they get off the farm once a month to relax. This year has been harder to do so as we have been insanely busy & the whole global pandemic thing..
  • They will be back for the farmers markets this weekend!

Return Red Freezer Bags, Mason Jars & 12 hole Egg Cartons

  • Yes you can return these items! We like to reuse as much as we can :)
  • You can leave them out your next delivery for the driver to get when they drop of your next order. If you are a pick up, you can leave the items at that location and we will grab them.
  • If your red bag has a water bottle in it, do not empty it & leave it in! It's an icepack to help keep the items frozen during delivery. We refreeze them and use them multiple times.

How to Return your items:

  1. Remove the stickers from the red cooler bags.
  2. Quickly clean them and leave them outside for the delivery driver to grab or leave them neatly at your pick up location.
  3. If you pick up at the Farm store, we have a spot for you to leave them.
  4. Egg Cartons & jars can be left with the box as well.

If you &/or your family are currently quarantined, Please keep your items for now.
