Carrots!

This week we have carrots in the box for you all. Pictured is our store gal, Charolette! Many of you who pick up at the store or visit us often may recognize her. She loves our odd shaped carrotsand wanted to show you all what you can expect for next week (carrots grown in regular mineral soil tend to be shorter and a little mis figured).

  • We have a few Tomatoes, jalapenos, and white spanish onions ready. We'll have lots more of these over the next few weeks. Time to make some Salsa!!
  • Pickling Cucumbers: The time is NOW to order some for your own pickling. We are almost out.
  • Roma Tomatoes: These are starting to come on. Start considering if you would like to order any bushels for sauce making or what not. We will let you know when we will be taking orders for these in bushel size!
  • Maze Theme: We are getting the arial shot of our maze this coming week. Stayed tuned on our social media channels for the big announcement. As members, you and your immediate family get to come to October Fall Festivities for free as our VIP's!
  • Weather..Now we're in a drought. Hey we wouldn't be farmers if we weren't complaining about something. Over a month without significant rain has turned us to drought conditions, but don't worry, most of our fruit and veggies are irrigated so we can keep them going. Its tougher on the pastures for the grazing animals. We've had to start using some of winter supply of hay to keep the animals fed. A nice all day rain would be very welcome.

~Please Return Red Bags & Boxes~

We take clean 12 slot eggs cartons & 250/500 ml or 1L Mason Jars back for up-cycling

Thats all for now. talk next week
