Farm Happenings for September 28th, 2023

Posted on September 23rd, 2023 by Mike Finger

Hi, Friends.  The customization period for next Thursday's (September 28th) harvest is now OPEN and will remain so until 9 a.m. Sunday morning.  If you'd like to change the crop list you currently have, or add other items or quantity, NOW is the time to do so.

The following items are available ONLY to those customizing their shares:  Eggs, Chicken, and Fresh Pasta.

Thank You and Thank You for returning your (folded flat, no rips) share box to your pick up site ~ we really appreciate all the boxes members have returned thus far! If you have plastic or cloth freezer bags from a recent pork delivery, please return those to your pick up site as well.  We'll need them for our next pork delivery in October.

This Week's Photo: Ashley and Arden with a harvest of slicing tomatoes and tomatillos that they cultivated at their own homestead garden, located at the property of Arden's mom just down the street from our place. They are justifiably proud of their product, and we are delighted to share these well grown crops with you.  Perhaps the best moment for me in this exchange was when I gave Arden a sales receipt book I had lying around the office and directed her to provide me a proper receipt like any serious business might use. The beaming smile this impromptu gift produced in this budding entrepreneur was a delight to behold.

Thank You for your membership.

Your farmers,

Mike, Kim, and Crew
