Farm Happenings for August 17th, 2023

Posted on August 12th, 2023 by Mike Finger

Hi, Friends.  The customization period for next Thursday's (August 17th) harvest is now OPEN and will remain so until 9 a.m. Sunday morning.  If you'd like to change the crop list you currently have, or add other items or quantity, NOW is the time to do so.

The following items are available ONLY to those customizing their shares:  Eggs, Chicken, Fresh Pasta, and Oyster Mushrooms.

Thank You and Thank You for returning your (folded flat, no rips) share box to your pick up site ~ we really appreciate all the boxes members have returned thus far! If you have plastic or cloth freezer bags from a recent pork delivery, please return those to your pick up site as well.  We'll need them for our next pork delivery in September.

We hope you are enjoying the summer harvest.  Thank You for your membership.

Your farmers,

Mike, Kim, and Crew

This Week's Photo:

A photo from a few years back, Ashley R. pulls out a trophy sized zucchini from an early planting in one of our greenhouses. We don't grow zukes in the greenhouses anymore ~ space, water, and nutrient hogs, zukes are best kept outdoors where their robust nature can fully express itself.
