We're into peak season now! I'm very happy to be offering more variety for you this week! We've got cherry tomatoes, the first heirloom beefsteak tomatoes, plus the usual greens etc that you've come to expect. Unfortunately my cucumber and zucchini crops have really been struggling in their fight against the many insect pests, but thankfully I'm partnering with Brett from Cadence Ecological Farm to include those staple summer crops (as well as carrots) in your veggie shares. This week, edible flowers- from Leafhouse City Farm- are making a return as an available add-on item. They're a great way to add a pop of colour and some flare to anything your cooking or making, including salads and baked goods! As always, the raw unpasteurized honey from Capital Bees (we're friends, but not affiliated) is also available to purchase as an add-on.
