Chilly days mean produce is slow...but we've got extra eggs!

Happy second week of Farm Shares! (And happy first week for our biweekly members!) It's been a little chilly out in the Mat-Su Valley this last week so things are growing a little slower than expected. All of our farmers are about a week and half behind their typical schedule. This means things like tomatoes and cucumbers that need lots of heat and sunshine to grow aren't producing as much as they normally are. But we all have our fingers crossed for some sun over the weekend! In the meantime, we have lots of green things this week like lettuces, kale, and cabbage, and even some zucchini! We hope to see more things like broccoli and peas become ready in the next couple of weeks.

We also have extra chicken AND duck eggs this week! First come first served. Check them out in the Extras section, along with coffee from Uncle Leroy's, chocolate from Chugach Chocolates, meat, seafood and more!
