Enjoying the warmer weather

Posted on November 4th, 2022 by Lynne Schultz

Hello everyone,

I hope that everyone is doing well. We are enjoying the weather and been able to get some projects done this week. Josh has been able to get water into the new barn which has been something that has been on the list to do for a while. I have been able to get the garlic planted for next year this week. We planted over 4000 cloves.

The warmer weather this week has made the plants grow and have a wide assortment of  vegetables ready for this week. I also made a run to the butcher shop this week and restock the freezers so there is plenty of meat to choose from.

Thanksgiving is a few weeks away and we will have a few fresh turkeys available for purchase.  They will be $80 each and weight around 30lbs. Yes they are big but they are the kids 4H projects from fair. Please let me know that you would like a turkey so I can reserve you one. They will be ready for pick up Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Have a great week,

Lynne
