Farm Happenings for June 10, 2022

Posted on June 9th, 2022 by Lynne Schultz

Greetings from the farm.

Sorry this out a little late this morning. I went to work on the email yesterday afternoon and first we lost our internet and then a few minutes later we lost electric which we did not get back until 11is last night. Josh said this storm reminding him of the storm we had two years ago when we lost our bank barn. Can't believe it has been two years ago. All I know is that we are hoping for a dry spell so we can dry up a little so we can get more plastic laid to get more planted and to be able to cultivate with tractor so we don't lose crops to the weeds. Plus we need to get hay done too.

So other than rain what is new on the farm. We we got the first of our zucchini and summer squash this week. So we are starting to get some of the early summer crops in. Also this week we have cucumbers, tomatoes, and peas. Plus the greens and herbs. So a a lot of vegetables to choose from.

I hope everyone has a great week and everyone starts to dry out
