Summer Update

Summer Updates from the Farm

The fields are looking lush despite the lack of rain. I guess we have our top notch irrigation system to thank!

Broccoli and cauliflower are almost done but we'll have another succession ready in September.

We harvested some beautiful cone cabbage (which makes the best coleslaw) and red cabbage. They'll be available for the next couple of weeks, and will store quite well in your fridge so don't be afraid to grab a few in your shares.

Cukes and zukes continue to produce well. No signs of disease yet thanks to the dry weather. Plus we haven't seen many striped cucumber beetles yet.

Beans are flowering which means we'll be picking in a couple of weeks.

Most importantly, tomatoes are just starting to turn colour which means it won't be long before tomato season is here!
