Hey there,

The rain has arrived! Walking through the garden I can already see the seeds popping up, as well as some of the weeds.  Peeking under the row covers, the broccoli and kohlrabi are close, the cabbages are coming along nicely, and many of the zucchini and cucumbers are beginning to flower.   It wont be long before there is a lot more variety of veggies coming out of the garden, and not just greens.

Some of the other things happing this week, we are picking up our day old turkey chicks to be ready for Thanksgiving.  If you haven't seen a baby turkey before, I would argue that they are cuter then chicks, they look like a tiny, fuzzy, ostrich.  Transplanting late cabbages, brussels sprouts, lettuce and some other odd balls rolling around in the hoop house.  And the endless mountain of weeding that always comes with rain.
