Another week of planting, weeding and harvesting, but also lots of eating. I love working in the garden, and some times it is hard to tear me away. There is always so much to do, and sometimes the work feels never ending, hardly time to sit down and enjoy a meal.
I enjoy cooking, and like figuring out new ways to work with what is in the garden and fridge, and one of the best things about summer is picnics and eating outdoors. Since the kids are with me while I am working in the garden, they are constantly browsing and eating, and they often have picnics, which is why there is usually a plate or two at random locations, or I lost track of time and Cory or the kids brought me snack from the house.
