Embrace the Seasons - Storing Veggies for Winter's Bounty

As we step into the seasonal transition, it's time to think ahead and prepare for the winter months. One of the best ways to ensure a varied and flavorful winter is by preserving the vibrant colors and flavors of your summer and early autumn harvest. Our Sweet Italian Peppers and Celery are easy and flavorful ingredient to put up in the freezer. Simply remove the seeds from the peppers or the leaves from the celery and dice the veggie. Lay the pieces out on a parchment lined tray and place in the freezer. When the pieces are frozen, transfer them to an airtight freezer bag. Voila!

Not sure what to do with that spaghetti squash in your share? Our recipe this week is a two-for-one, a dead simple, yet delicious roast version and the au gratin extension if you're feeling cheesy.
