There are some HOT TIPS below!

WE love sharing this food, this farm and this COMMUNITY with you.

Thank you for reading this,

A few housekeeping points to us on track....

On -farm pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays: bring your own bag. You will pick up your CSA list/label and pack your own bag from our market style pick up. We have a mini farmer's market set up so you can buy extras like cheese, eggs, butter, produce, and meat. Ask about bulk buying.

Delivery locations only get 2 insulated cooler bags per season to make pick up convenient & classy. Some locations get boxes due to our difficulty in getting bags back or because the drop spot has asked us to use boxes vs. bags.

Please return your cooler bag each week with the label intact

Return all bags to the same area you pick it up.

VERY IMPORTANT: It is your responsibility to pick up your share within the time given.

I chose the Harvie platform for it's high customer convenience and flexibility.

Please use the Harvie platform for all changes-yes, there's a learning curve but you have the power to make ALL your own changes when you do it in the time allotted.

Changes must be made by customization cut-off time in your email.

Harvie allows you to make multiple changes to your share weekly.  This is a skill we ask you to learn. For the sustainability of the farm I ask you to learn how to manage your Harvie account. There are 200 of you and one of me. Please take the extra step and check out Harvie University to see if there is a help doc that can help you solve your problem.

A simple phone alarm to remind you of the end of customization period and pick up times may serve many of you -I live by my phone reminders!

You can change your pick up location or reschedule your delivery for another day - but you have to make those changes by Sunday at 3pm before Tuesday delivery and Tuesday at 3pm for Thursday (& Friday/Saturday) delivery.

Please understand once the share leaves the farm the morning of delivery it is out of our hands.

With respect for everyone involved please do not call, email or text Lisa the day of delivery with last minute changes. Changes must be made 2 days before delivery during the customization period.

Make sure your phone number is up to date and accurate so the drop location can contact you with any last minute info.

Call your drop location only in an emergency situation where you just can't pick up your bag.

For on farm pick up if you don't pick up your share we will box it for you and put it in the cooler until the end of the next day. No need to call or email, just come by and pick up your share.

Bags left past pick up time at drop spots are donated to employees of the site or a local food pantry.

Yes! A friend can pick up you bag for you! No need to consult us.

Again *please learn how to navigate Harvie*

We grow food because we LOVE and believe in what we do. Put another way, we can't grow without YOU!

If something isn't what you thought it was or should be or if you are missing something from your bag please let us know.  We grow for YOU and with your help we all can GROW.

We love compliments and we appreciate constructive criticism, do share.

If you haven't yet PLEASE join the private FB Farm-ily page. Be sure to answer the questions so I can identify you as a CSA member. This is a private page to help you exchange information, learn about the farm, share with like minded folks and build community.

Please participate in the new CHALLENGE-there's a PRIZE!

Also follow us on the social media outlet of your choice -FaceBook or Instagram- to see videos and lots of photos of what we're doing and how we're growing both food and community!

If your customized box doesn't sing to you make sure your preferences are set accurately and then further customize weekly- you have until 3pm Sunday and 6am Wednesday.

Pro Tip: Adjust your preferences SEASONALLY If you know green beans are in and you want them every time they are available rate them a 5 and MOST other items should be scored lower.

By picking just a few items per week to rate at 5 you get the best shot of getting those 'harder to get' items in your box each time.

Thank you for reading this.

I love what I do.

I love serving all of you.

With these reminders I hope to help all of us hold ourselves accountable to make our experience together sustainable and wholly nourishing.

Thank you truly and deeply for your support and patronage,

Cheers,

Lisa
