Welcome to your Whole Season CSA share-PLEASE READ

Welcome to your 26 week CSA share.

You've made a great choice!

We are so glad you're here.

WE love sharing this food, this farm and this COMMUNITY with you!

Let's go over a few housekeeping points so this season goes smoothly for all of us.

On -farm pick up on Tuesdays and Thursdays: bring your own bag. You will pick up your CSA list/label and pack your own bag from our market style pick up. We have a mini farmer's market set up so you can buy extras like cheese, eggs, butter, produce, and meat. And the plant sale will continue for 2 more weeks.   No need to order on line for extras.

Delivery locations only get 2 insulated cooler bags per season to make pick up convenient & classy.

Please return your cooler bag each week with the label intact

Return all bags to the same area you pick up your bag.

IF you have bags from last year please send them along, we will make good use of them!

Please read: It is your responsibility to pick up your share within the time given.

I chose the Harvie platform for it's high customer convenience and flexibility.

Please use the Harvie platform for all changes-yes, there's a learning curve but you have the power to make ALL your own changes.

Changes must be made by customization cut-off time in your email.

Harvie allows you to make multiple changes to your share weekly.

You can change your pick up location or reschedule your delivery for another day - but you have to make those changes by Sunday at 3pm before Tuesday delivery and Tuesday at 3pm for Thursday (& Friday/Saturday) delivery.

Please understand once the share leaves the farm the morning of delivery it is out of our hands.

With respect for everyone involved please do not call, email or text Lisa the day of delivery with last minute changes. Changes must be made 2 days before delivery during the customization period.

Make sure your phone number is up to date and accurate so the drop location can contact you with any last minute info.

Call your drop location only in an emergency situation where you just can't pick up your bag.

For on farm pick up if you don't pick up your share we will bag it for you and put it in the cooler until the end of the next day. No need to call or email, just come by and pick up your share.

Bags left beyond pick up time at drop spots are donated to employees of the site or a local food pantry.

Yes! A friend can pick up you bag for you! No need to tell us.

Please get to know Harvie. It is super helpful (for both you and me) when you know how to use it.

We grow food because we LOVE and believe in how and what we grow. We want to give you the best food we can and build community at the same time.

If something isn't what you thought it was or should be or if you are missing something from your bag please let us know.

We love compliments and we appreciate constructive criticism, do share.

Please join the private FB Farm-ily page. Be sure to answer the questions so I can identify you as a CSA member. This is a private page to help you exchange information, learn about the farm, share with like minded folks and build community. Please participate!

Also follow us on the social media outlet of your choice -FaceBook or Instagram- to see videos and lots of photos of what we're doing and how we're growing both food and community!

If your customized box doesn't sing to you make sure your preferences are set accurately and then further customize weekly- you have until 3pm Sunday and 3pm Tuesday.

We think you know but just in case....You will be eating your greens this month. They're super fresh, nutrient dense and yes, Certified Organic!

Freeze spinach & kale, make a quiche or saute it for a side dish with eggs for breakfast or  dinner.

Kale is a superfood! See our BLOG on kale to get recipes and inspiration!
